Norwegian rig operator Subsea 7 has been awarded a major additional order by the Turkish Petroleum Offshore Technology Center concerning the Sakarya field in the Black Sea. The contract, estimated to be worth between $300 million and $500 million, is an extension of phase three and includes the connection of the Goktepe field. This was announced in a press release.
The original contract was presented in August 2025.
Offshore activities are planned for 2027 and 2028.
