Exports of Swedish military equipment amounted to 28 billion SEK in 2025, just below the record level of 29 billion SEK the previous year, according to the Inspectorate of Strategic Products (ISP).

The agency points to the deteriorating security situation and global rearmament as the driving forces behind this trend. According to the ISP, exports could increase further in the future following major deals announced during the year. The United States was the largest buyer, followed by Gripen customers Hungary and Brazil.
