T Rowe Price has appointed Richard Parkin to the post of head of UK retirement. Parkin will take on the role from 9 March 2026 and brings over 35 years of experience across pensions and retirement, having previously worked as head of retirement at BNY Investments and head of pensions policy at Fidelity International. He also serves on several industry bodies, including part-time roles as chair of the Retirement Income Committee and non-executive director at the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.
In his new role, the incoming retirement head will lead the development and delivery of T Rowe Price?s UK retirement strategy, working across the firm?s retail and institutional businesses.
