In Dubai, the Burj Khalifa was lit in celebration as fireworks and water fountains were fired off in the vicinity.
Abu Dhabi saw plenty of fireworks following a drone display that gave viewers a unique visual of the countdown appearing in the night sky.
In Ras Al-Khaimah, lit drones put up a night show ahead of midnight, including a large replica of a person looming large over the coastal city.
Performers and a DJ entertained the crowds ahead of the celebration and as the countdown began, the Lusail Plaza Towers were lit up and projected the year 2026.
A drone display was also shown above the towers with an image of a horse.
