TIM and Warner Bros Sign Agreement for the Launch of HBO Max in Italy

(Alliance News) - Telecom Italia Spa and Warner Bros Discovery on Tuesday announced a new strategic partnership for the debut of HBO Max in Italy. Thanks to this multi-year agreement, the HBO Max app will be available on TimVision.

The deal allows for the distribution of HBO Max bundled with TimVision offers starting from EUR7.00 per month, including the entire HBO Max catalog, TimVision Play, Netflix, and Infinity Plus.

The agreement also includes the renewal of Discovery+ content with the 6 Eurosport channels alongside CNN International, already included in the TimVision Play subscription, which will be further enriched with a selection of films.

"The collaboration strengthens HBO Max's global expansion strategy and that of TimVision, which consolidates its role as the leading aggregator in Italy of all the world's largest streaming platforms, together with TimVision Play, the renewed catalog of films, TV series, and sports from TIM0," the statement reads.

HBO Max, the global streaming service from Warner Bros Discovery, is already available in over 100 countries and offers a unique selection that guarantees access to content from HBO, Warner Bros. Pictures, Warner Bros. Television, DC Universe, Max Originals, and Eurosport.

Telecom Italia shares are down 0.4% at EUR0.5346 per share.
