According to a statement, the agreement aims to accelerate the expansion of 5G in Italy.
The agreement stipulates that each operator may use—in the relevant areas—the other party's radio-mobile access infrastructure, thus avoiding duplication of infrastructure.
The resulting efficiencies will make it possible to extend high-performance 5G network coverage to underserved, low-density areas, improving digital inclusion and service quality for families and businesses.
