The Lapa South-West project, comprising three wells connected to the existing Lapa Floating Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) unit, will increase production from the Lapa field by 25,000 barrels per day.

"This project enables low-cost, low-emission oil production and contributes to achieving our production growth target of 3% per year through 2030," emphasizes Nicolas Terraz, President of Exploration & Production.

With this startup, TotalEnergies continues to ramp up its portfolio in Brazil, a key country for its growth, following the startup of Mero-4 in May 2025, and ahead of the Atapu-2 and Sépia-2 startups scheduled for 2029.
