TotalEnergies together with its partners QatarEnergy and ConocoPhillips, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Syrian Petroleum Company (SPC) relating to the exploration of Block 3, offshore Syria in the Mediterranean Sea. The MoU covers a technical review by the partners of the offshore Block 3 area and establishes a framework for technical and commercial discussions related to exploration activities on this block.
ConocoPhillips specializes in exploring and producing hydrocarbons. Net sales break down by family of products as follows:
- crude oil (71.2%): 969,000 barrels produced per day in 2024;
- natural gas (11.8%): 62.3 million m3 produced per day;
- liquefied natural gas (5.3%): 304,000 barrels produced per day;
- other (11.7%).
Net sales are distributed geographically as follows: the United States (79.4%), Canada (6.2%), Norway (4.4%), the United Kingdom (3.3%), Libya (3.1%), China (1.7%), Malaysia (1.7%) and other (0.2%).
