Toyota Tsusho Corporation (TSE:8015) entered into a share transfer agreement to acquire 25% stake in LG-HY BCM Co., Ltd. from Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt Co., Ltd (SHSE:603799) for approximately KRW 170 million on September 9, 2025. Before completion, Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt Co., Ltd owned 49% stake in LG-HY BCM Co., Ltd. After completion, Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt Co., Ltd will own 24% stake in LG-HY BCM Co., Ltd. LG Chem will retain its majority position with a 51% stake.
For the period ended December 31, 2024, LG-HY BCM Co., Ltd. reported total assets of CNY 803,075.16 million, net assets of CNY 289,352.28 million, operating revenue of CNY 625,869.56 million and net profit of CNY 35,038.51 million.
