Toyota Tsusho : Recognized with a CDP Triple 'A' Company for Second Consecutive Year~Toyota Tsusho Receives Highest Rating for "CDP Climate Change," "CDP Forests," and "CDP Water Security" Categories~
Toyota Tsusho Corporation ("Toyota Tsusho") announced today that it has received the highest rating for the three categories of "Climate Change," "Forests," and "Water Security" of the CDP*1, an international non-profit organization, and has been recognized with a CDP triple 'A' company for the second consecutive year.
Toyota Tsusho's mission is "passing on a better Earth to the children of the future," and to achieve this, it is broadening its perspective from carbon neutrality to nature positivity, aiming to create more comprehensive environmental value.
In particular, with regard to reducing GHG emissions, in July 2025, Toyota Tsusho set short-term targets (at the 1.5℃ level) *2 for 2030 for GHG emissions across its entire value chain, including its supply chain, with the aim of achieving net zero emissions by 2050. Furthermore, Toyota Tsusho set an ambitious and comprehensive net-zero target for 2050 that covers all Scopes 1, 2, and 3, and has published it as the "Net Zero Declaration*3," which has been certified as an SBT.
Additionally, the Toyota Tsusho Group Environmental Policy*4 clearly outlines environmental issues, such as responses to climate change, water resource management, biodiversity (nature positive), reduction of air, water, and soil pollution, responses to chemical substances, and resource recycling including waste, as well as internal and external initiatives such as establishment of an environmental management system.
Toyota Tsusho believes that being selected as an "A List" company in the three CDP categories of "Climate Change," "Forests," and "Water Security" for the second consecutive year reflects a comprehensive evaluation of the Toyota Tsusho Group's sustainability initiatives and information disclosure.
Toyota Tsusho will continue to comprehensively promote carbon neutrality, a circular economy, and nature positivity as a good corporate citizen, strive to solve environmental issues, and contribute to the realization of a sustainable society in order to pass on a better earth to the children of the future.
