June 15 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened higher on Monday as markets cheered an agreement between Washington and Tehran to end the Iran war and reopen the crucial Strait of Hormuz.
At 9:30 a.m. ET, the Toronto Stock Exchange's S&P/TSX Composite Index was up 0.3% at 35,075.11 points.
