TUI is continuing its commitment to accessible and inclusive holidays by introducing three additional sensory rooms for summer 2026 to support neurodivergent guests and their families.

The new sensory rooms will be added to the TUI BLUE portfolio in summer 2026. They will open at TUI BLUE Tropical and TUI BLUE Palm Garden in Türkiye, as well as TUI BLUE Atlantica Aeneas Resort in Cyprus. This expansion follows the success of the first two sensory rooms launched in 2025.

The specially designed spaces provide a calming, low-stimulation environment for customers who may feel overwhelmed by busy or unfamiliar surroundings. They feature elements such as soft lighting, interactive sensory equipment, and quiet zones to encourage relaxation and make holidays more enjoyable for the whole family.

Earlier in 2025 TUI's first two sensory rooms opened at TUI BLUE Nausicaa Beach in Cyprus and TUI BLUE Aura in Ibiza.

Guests will be able to experience a range of inclusive activities and spaces within the sensory rooms across the five TUI BLUE resorts, including:

  • Open-access to the rooms - available for anyone to relax, regulate emotions, or take time out from the hotel environment
  • Parent & Baby Sensory Adventure sessions for ages 0-2 years, encouraging early sensory play in a calm, inclusive setting
  • Family activity sessions for families to connect, engage and build confidence together outside of kids' clubs

Alongside the sensory rooms, TUI is continuing to support inclusive travel through initiatives such as its SENNIES partnership which provides bespoke training for all childcare teams and frontline staff to ensure they can provide an inclusive holiday experience for children with additional needs, including neurodiversity.

All TUI BLUE Kids' clubs also offer sensory bags filled with tactile, visual, and auditory items to help children self-regulate and feel comfortable. Guests can borrow these items during the stay, along with ear defenders, allowing every child to explore and play at their own pace.

Louise Bates, Director Brands & Product TUI Hotels & Resorts, said: "The expansion of our sensory rooms into more TUI BLUE resorts is a direct response to the positive feedback we've received and reflects our ambition to lead the way in neuro-friendly travel. These calming spaces, combined with our wider initiatives such as sensory bags and specialist training, ensure every child and family feels supported, understood, and able to relax on holiday.

"We know that busy resort environments can sometimes feel overwhelming for families, so we're committed to creating spaces that make holidays more inclusive and enjoyable for everyone."
