Unilever has appointed Reema Jain as Chief Information Officer (CIO) to oversee its core IT operations, reporting to the company?s Chief Digital and Technology Officer. Jain rejoined Unilever in 2025 as Global VP of Digital Technology and now steps into the CIO role as part of the group?s ongoing transformation under CEO Fernando Fernandez. Since taking the helm in 2025, Fernandez has continued a wide-ranging restructuring plan initiated in 2024, including a 25% leadership reduction, the spin-off of the ice cream business, 7,500 job cuts, and changes to the sustainability leadership team.
