Finnish forestry giant UPM-Kymmene is ceasing its label material manufacturing operations in Nancy, France, but will retain the facility as a terminal for cutting and distribution.

A total of 79 employees are affected by the decision, and the company states that support will be provided to help mitigate the impact. The move is intended to strengthen profitability within the adhesive materials segment by consolidating production at more cost-effective plants. No financial details have been disclosed.
