Danish wind power company Vestas has received an order from Germany's RWE for the Vanguard East offshore wind project in the United Kingdom, with a capacity of 1.38 gigawatts.

The order includes the delivery, installation, and commissioning of 92 V236-15.0 MW turbines, as well as a five-year service agreement followed by a long-term operational support agreement.

Deliveries are expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2028, with commissioning planned for 2030. RWE aims for a final investment decision in the summer of 2026.
