SBI Mutual Fund has launched a new Closed Ended Growth scheme named SBI Capital Protection Oriented Fund - Series A (Plan 8) with maturity period of 1,235 days from the launch date. The New Fund Offer (NFO) price for the scheme is INR 10.00 per unit, which will open for subscription from March 4, 2020 to March 17, 2020. According to the offer document filed with SEBI, the entry and exit load is Nil. The minimum application amount is INR 5,000.00 and in multiples of INR 1 thereafter. The options available under the plan of the scheme are Growth. The fund manager of the scheme will be Rajeev Radhakrishnan, while the performance of the scheme will be benchmarked against CRISIL Hybrid 85+15 - Conservative Index. The scheme is a close-ended capital protection oriented scheme. The scheme endeavors to protect the capital by investing in high quality fixed income securities that are maturing on or before the maturity of the Scheme as the primary objective and generate capital appreciation by investing in equity and equity related instruments as a secondary objective. However, there can be no assurance or guarantee that the investment objective of the scheme will be achieved.
