March 30 (Reuters) - A.G. Barr, best known for Scottish fizzy drink Irn-Bru, reported on Tuesday a 30.5% slump in full-year profit, as the coronavirus-led restrictions imposed last December weakened sales in pubs and sapped demand for its products.

The soft drinks maker said profit before tax fell to 26 million pounds ($35 million) for the full year ended Jan 2021, compared with 37.4 million pounds a year earlier.

The company also said it would resume dividend payments this year. (Reporting by Vishwadha Chander and Pushkala Aripaka in Bengaluru, Editing by Sherry Jacob-Phillips)
