Italian regional utility A2A has no immediate plans to invest in an ultra-fast broadband network, Chief Executive Renato Mazzoncini said on Thursday.
"We will present a new industrial plan by the end of autumn and we will see then. Now it's not a priority for us," Mazzoncini told a conference call on the group's first half results.
Earlier this week, two people familiar with the matter told Reuters that both A2 and Comcast's Sky unit were considering investing in an Italian single ultra-fast broadband network.
