AAC Technologies Holdings Inc. said its unit AAC Communication Technologies (Changzhou) Co. will get a capital increase of 1.15 billion yuan ($164.7 million) from four strategic investors.

The strategic investors, which include entities controlled by Chinese smartphone makers Xiaomi Corp. and OPPO, will obtain a combined 9.58% stake in AAC Communication upon completion of the deal, the company said Wednesday.

AAC Technologies, a supplier of acoustic components to some of the world's leading smartphone companies, said the fundraising will help accelerate the business development of its unit.
