AbaCore Capital Holdings, Inc. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2020. For the second quarter, the company announced negative total revenue was PHP 6.392 million compared to total Revenue of PHP 325.777 million a year ago. Operating loss was PHP 23.647 million compared to operating Income of PHP 287.107 million a year ago. Net loss was PHP 22.427 million compared to net income of PHP 267.359 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was PHP 0.0081 compared to basic earnings per share of PHP 0.0956 a year ago. For the half year, negative total revenue was PHP 5.349 million compared to total Revenue of PHP 324.983 million a year ago. The Company operates through three segments: holding company, real estate business and financial services. The holding company segment is primarily engaged in purchasing, owning, holding, transferring, or disposing of real property of every kind and description, including shares of stocks and other securities, contracts or obligations of any corporation or association. The real estate segment includes purchases of land for appreciation. The financial services segment is involved in the accumulation of deposits and extension of rural credits to small farmers and tenants and to deserving rural industries or enterprises. The Company holds 102 gold mining claims in Agusan del Sur and Surigao del Sur and seven coal blocks, each containing 1,000 hectares, located in Surigao del Sur.
