ABB announces a collaboration to modernize the electrical equipment at Cemex's Rudniki plant in Poland, a key site in cement production.

The proposed solution includes upgrading ABB's Emax2 circuit breakers with Ekip Touch protection modules, enabling simplified interchangeability and enhanced safety.

The upgrade also includes digital analyzers and connectivity to the cloud via ABB Ability Energy & Asset Manager, offering accurate monitoring of energy consumption.

According to ABB, improved furnace performance reduces CO2 emissions, while minimizing the risk of production interruptions.
