The Canadian government has agreed to buy up to 20.5 million Panbio Covid-19 antigen rapid tests from Abbott Laboratories.
The government said this is the first antigen rapid test authorized by Health Canada. Canada previously reached agreements to buy Abbott's ID Now test and tests from Biomerieux Canada and Inter Medico.
