Operations Director - responsible for resource planning for supporting vessel inspections, rig moves and the marine warranty survey (MWS) team to support projects both locally and elsewhere across Asia-Pacific.
What inspired you to go into the field you are in?
Safety is a priority in everything we do in ABL Group. This also goes for the execution of all jobs that ABL work on, providing independent 3-party support to help our client to achieve and deliver their projects incident free.
What do you enjoy about working at ABL?
The chance to work with professional teams from around the world. I enjoy how the projects we work on, combine my personal passions and my professional expertise, so I never have to worry about the Monday coming, because I truly enjoy every day at ABL, from my first day with the company to now.
What is the most exciting aspect of the energy transition for you?
This is a new, but predominant challenge for our ABL team to work on, so we can help the world in the near future to transfer from using fossil oil to renewable energy resources like solar PV and wind power, among others.
What do you enjoy in your spare time?
Getting back to basics with my small family. With my job I am often travelling since the beginning of my career as a seaman and surveyor, so my spare time is devoted to my family.
