ADIB expands its branch network in Dubai

Abu Dhabi, 24 June 2014: Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) has opened its 79th branch in the UAE, at Jumeirah Lake Towers in Dubai. The new branch which brings the total number of ADIB's branches in Dubai to 16 and which provides the full range of retail and commercial services to customers, further strengthens ADIB's position as one the largest retail banks in the UAE.

Apart from having an extensive branch network and being the number 1 bank for customer service, ADIB provides its customers with easy access to their accounts 24 hours a day through online banking, phone banking and mobile apps which allow customers to check their account balances, make payments locally and internationally and many other E-services.

Commenting on the new branch, Philip King, UAE Head of Retail Banking for ADIB, said: "Despite increasing use of our online channels, we continue to see high demand from customers for services from our branches, and this is our response to that demand. It reflects ADIB's commitment to improving the client experience and making its services as accessible as possible. We will keep looking for new ways to ensure we are providing our customers with the best services."

Today, ADIB has the third largest retail network in the UAE in terms of branches and with more than 600 ATMs. The bank was recently named Best Islamic Bank in the UAE by The Banker magazine, in recognition of its rapid growth and high quality of customer service.
