Andrea Gisle Joosen, the current Chairman of the Acast AB, has today announced to the Nomination Committee that she does not intend to stand for re-election at the 2022 Annual General Meeting which will take place in May 2022. Gisle Joosen has been Acast's Chairman of the Board since 2018.

Andrea Gisle Joosen said: “Over the past four years, Acast has grown from an emerging Swedish start-up to a listed global company. Acast is today a world leader in podcasting and is well prepared for the future development of the industry which continues at pace. The company itself is undergoing an expansion phase and is investing heavily in establishing a leading position in the United States as well as building in other markets.

“All operations within Acast are based on clear values and strong foundations, which have played a key role in its success - both in attracting talented podcast creators and not least in attracting key talent. It has been a privilege for me to have had the opportunity to contribute to Acast's development during these fundamental years for the business.”

Acast's Annual General Meeting 2022 will be held in Stockholm on May 17, 2022.
