Longi Green Energy Technology Co Ltd. has signed a framework agreement with Adani Green Energy to supply the Indian firm with up to 1.2 GW of its Hi-MO4 bifacial monocrystalline modules through 2020. The sales agreement calls for shipment volumes of between 500 MW and 1,200 MW of modules, the Chinese manufacturer said in a bourse filing on Friday. According to its estimates, the planned deliveries will account for or around 20% of Longi Solar's annual external module sales in 2018.

Longi Green and its Indian partner, which is a unit of Indian industrial conglomerate Adani Group, have also agreed to broaden their collaboration over the next three-five years so as to take advantage of the "great potential on the Indian solar market. The framework sales agreement will be valid through December 31, 2020, or until a mutually agreed date.
