Adapteo has presented its new sustainability targets. The targets reflect Adapteo's commitment to become the sustainable choice for businesses who need adaptable buildings with a minimal environmental impact, and that enable a more inclusive society. Adapteo launched a new sustainability strategy during fall 2020, with the overall business objective of becoming one of the most sustainable companies in the industry. To support and showcase the company's dedication to the sustainability strategy, Adapteo now sets new 2030 targets, by committing to use 100% sustainable materials by 2030, producing the buildings in a climate neutral manner and using fossil free transports, within the same time frame. Adapteo is also committing to continuously expand its circular flows by 2030. This for example, means, developing a model that enables reuse of building units that no longer meet the quality requirements for use in ordinary operations. When it comes to climate emissions, Adapteo aims for fossil free transports and to reduce its emissions by 50% by 2030, which is the level set for the construction industry by the national initiative Fossil Free Sweden. Another sustainability aspect of Adapteo's activities is to be an active partner in creating more inclusive societies by being able to quickly meet the changing local needs of the public sector, for example day cares, schools, and nursing homes, as well as partnering with organizations with societal development. As an employer, inclusion is also an important part of Adapteo's sustainability goals. The company strives for a diverse workforce among employees and in management. Adapteo's Sustainability Targets: 100% sustainable materials by 2030; A climate-neutral production and fossil-free transports by 2030; Continuous expansion of circular flows until 2030; Enabling users to halve carbon emissions from solutions by 2030; Adapteo aims for an inclusive workplace and leadership, with equal age and gender balance and equal rights and opportunities for all; Adapteo will be an active partner in shaping sustainable societies.
