LUXEMBOURG (AP) _ Adecoagro SA (AGRO) on Thursday reported first-quarter net income of $18.2 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Luxembourg-based company said it had profit of 16 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 47 cents per share.
The producer of agricultural products and renewable energy posted revenue of $174.8 million in the period.
Adecoagro shares have increased 41% since the beginning of the year. The stock has more than doubled in the last 12 months.
