That's according to a report by the Wall Street Journal on Tuesday (March 28).

The sportswear giant signed a deal with the U.S. pop star in 2019 to relaunch her brand Ivy Park.

But the Journal reported sales of Ivy Park had underperformed expectations for years.

The Hollywood Reporter was first to report the split.

It said last week the decision was mutual and blamed on 'major creative differences'.

If confirmed, it would mark a second high-profile business break-up between Adidas and a celebrity partner.

The German company ended its collaboration with Kanye West last year after the musician made antisemitic comments.

Earlier this month, Adidas warned the split with West and his Yeezy brand could push it to its first annual loss in three decades this year.
