Advanced Micro Devices to Replace DuPont de Nemours in S&P 100

Chipmaker Advanced Micro Devices Inc. will replace DuPont de Nemours Inc. on the S&P 100 index effective Sept. 19, S&P Dow Jones Indices said Friday.

"DuPont de Nemours is no longer representative of the mega-capitalization market space," said S&P Dow Jones Indices, adding it will remain in the S&P 500.

Also on Sept. 19, CoStar Group Inc. will replace PVH Corp. and Invitation Homes Inc. will replace PENN Entertainment Inc. on the S&P 500 index. PVH and PENN will move to the S&P MidCap 400 on that day. S&P Dow Jones Indices said PVN and PENN are more representative of the mid-cap market space.
