Today, Advent Claymore Convertible Securities and Income Fund (NYSE:
AVK) declared a supplemental year-end distribution of $0.221 per share.
The distribution will consist solely of ordinary income and is being
made at this time in order to allow the Fund to meet its distribution
requirement for 2011. The supplemental distribution will be paid on
December 30, 2011 to shareholders of record as of December 28, 2011,
with an ex-dividend date of December 23, 2011.

19(a) of the Investment Company Act of 1940, as amended, such notice
will be posted to the Fund's website after the close of business three
