Aemetis, Inc. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2021. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was USD 49.9 million compared to USD 40.92 million a year ago. Net loss was USD 17.6 million compared to USD 12.22 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was USD 0.55 compared to USD 0.59 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was USD 0.55 compared to USD 0.59 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was USD 147.59 million compared to USD 128.23 million a year ago. Net loss was USD 46.27 million compared to USD 22.08 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was USD 1.55 compared to USD 1.06 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was USD 1.55 compared to USD 1.06 a year ago.
Aemetis, Inc. is a renewable natural gas and renewable fuels company. It is focused on the acquisition, development and commercialization of technologies that replace petroleum-based products and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Its segments include California Ethanol, California Dairy Renewable Natural Gas, and India Biodiesel. California Ethanol segment includes the Companyâs 65 million gallon per year ethanol plant in Keyes, California. California Dairy Renewable Natural Gas segment is engaged in the production and sale of renewable natural gas and associated environmental attributes, consisting of anaerobic digesters located at diaries, at 36-mile biogas collection pipeline, and biogas upgrading hub and pipeline interconnect that produces Renewable Natural Gas from the biogas. India Biodiesel segment includes the Companyâs 60 million gallon per year nameplate capacity biodiesel manufacturing plant in Kakinada India, and administrative offices in Hyderabad, India.
