Aeroflot announces government participation in share capital increase 13 July 2022

13 July 2022, Moscow - PJSC Aeroflot (Moscow Exchange ticker: AFLT) (the "Aeroflot Group" or the "Company") advises that Russian Federation, represented by the Federal Agency for State Property Management (Rosimushchestvo) and by the Ministry of Finance, took part in Company's share capital increase exercising pre-emptive rights to purchase shares.

Rosimushchestvo and the Ministry of Finance have submitted a joint application for the acquisition of 1,531,234,889 new ordinary shares of PJSC Aeroflot. This is in line with the specified financing needs of the Company and at the placement price of RUB 34.29 corresponds to 52.5 billion rubles.

The funds raised from the state will help to fully cover the Group's needs as part of the restructuring of obligations under letters of credit.

The process of exercising pre-emptive rights is continuing, its progress and completion of the share capital increase and the total amount of funds raised will be announced additionally.
