MOSCOW, Jan 11 (Reuters) - Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday publicly reprimanded trade and industry minister Denis Manturov for the absence of aircraft contracts, after Manturov said he would provide 175 billion roubles ($2.56 billion) to state airline Aeroflot to lease aircraft.

Speaking at a meeting with officials televised on state television, Putin told Manturov to speed up the process of aircraft orders, saying that the contracts should be completed within a month. (Reporting by Reuters)
