On September 28, 2020, Samuel T. Byrne notified Affiliated Managers Group, Inc. (the "Company") of his decision to retire from the Board of Directors, effective immediately.

"On behalf of our Board and AMG's management team, we thank Sam for his dedicated service and strategic insights over the years," stated Dwight D. Churchill, Chairman of AMG's Board of Directors. "Since 2009, AMG has benefited from Sam's guidance, industry perspective, and financial expertise, and we wish Sam the very best in his future endeavors."
