Afrika Gold AG announced update on Lancaster Mine. The Lancaster mine in South Africa, after the two reported attakcs, was secured with reinforced security forces and police arrested three suspects. Since then, no major incidents have occurred. Meanwhile, three of the mine's injured security forces have been able to leave the hospital. The fourth is still under treatment. The increased security costs were financed at short notice by individual shareholders. However, the capital requirement is not yet fully covered. Most of the agreement with creditors on the extensive conversion of claims into shares (which is expected to increase the share capital of Afrika Gold AG by around 370 thousand shares) has been reached to a large extent, but has not yet been finalised. Both are prerequisites to ensure the continuation of the company. Irrespective of this, talks with authorities and business partners of the mine are in full swing.
