BAY SHORE, N.Y. (AP) _ Air Industries Group (AIRI) on Wednesday reported a loss of $28,000 in its first quarter.

The Bay Shore, New York-based company said it had a loss of less than 1 cent on a per-share basis.

The maker of parts for the aerospace industry and defense contractors posted revenue of $12.1 million in the period.

In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, the company's shares hit 66 cents. A year ago, they were trading at $1.15.
