Air Liquide SA has signed a new contract to supply oxygen and nitrogen at the Glogow site belonging to Polish copper-and-silver producer KGHM Polska Miedz SA, it said Tuesday.

The French industrial-gas supplier said that as part of the long-term contract, it will invest around 40 million euros ($47.3 million) to construct an air separation unit (ASU). The new installation will add daily oxygen capacity of more than 1,200 metric tons, Air Liquide said, taking total oxygen capacity at the site to close to 2,800 tons per day.

The company didn't disclose financial details of the new contract.
