Air Liquide announced on Tuesday that it would be strengthening its home healthcare business with an acquisition in Belgium and the Netherlands.

These two entities, whose names were not disclosed, currently support 10,000 patients living with respiratory insufficiency, sleep apnea syndrome or requiring infusion or nutrition treatments, explains the industrial gases specialist.

With sales of over €10 million in 2023, the two companies acquired will be supported by some 50 employees who will now join the Group.

In a press release, Air Liquide points out that it has made homecare one of its strategic development priorities, with over two million people already being cared for.

Its international VitalAire brand is already present in Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands.
