Air Liquide : and CNRS renew their cooperation and research framework agreement

Air Liquide and the CNRS (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique) announce the renewal of their cooperation and research framework agreement for a period of five years. In line with the Group's open innovation strategy, this public-private partnership will enable Air Liquide to increase its collaboration with scientific ecosystems in order to meet the major industrial and societal challenges of the future.

This agreement strengthens the partnership signed in 2002 and renewed in 2013 on which many collaborative research projects between Air Liquide and the CNRS have been based. These projects focus on topics such as ceramic materials, additive manufacturing, production and valorisation of hydrogen, transformation and reuse of CO2, production of biogas, and artificial intelligence.

Today, more than 70 laboratories of the CNRS and its partners, spread throughout France, have already forged strong ties with Air Liquide by developing shared scientific projects, making it possible to share a diversity of skills and high level scientific knowledge.

The signing of this cooperation and research agreement marks a new stage in this collaboration with the CNRS, a long-term partner of excellence. This relationship based on trust, forged nearly twenty years ago, and renewed today, allows us to share the know-how and scientific knowledge essential to developing solutions to meet global challenges. This partnership highlights Air Liquide's long-term commitment to the French innovation ecosystem.
