Air Products & Chemicals Inc. said Friday that it expects up to a 15% increase in adjusted earnings per share in fiscal 2022.

The provider of essential industrial gases and chemicals said it expects adjusted EPS to be between $10.20 and $10.40, which represents an increase of between 13% and 15% over fiscal 2021.

The company also said it expects capital expenditures of between $4.5 billion to $5 billion for the year.

For the second quarter, Air Products set an adjusted EPS guidance of between $2.30 and $2.40, which would be an increase of between 11% and 15% over the prior-year period.
