Airbus said that Air India disclosed an order for 100 aircraft and a services contract.
The European aerospace company said Monday that the order is for 10 A350 widebody and 90 single-aisle A320 family aircraft. Air India has also selected Airbus' Flight Hour Services-Component (FHS-C) package for its A350 fleet, the plane manufacturer said.
The aircraft order, which is already included in Airbus' 2024 orderbook, follows an order in 2023 from Air India for 40 A350 and 210 A320 family aircraft, Airbus said.
Air India's total orderbook for Airbus aircraft now stands at 344 after six A350-900s were delivered, it said.
