Airbus: first A400M delivered to Kazakhstan
The first of two Airbus A400Ms ordered by Kazakhstan was handed over to the customer at a ceremony in Almaty, southern Kazakhstan.
To date, more than 130 A400Ms have been delivered to nine countries, accumulating 200,000 flight hours.
' Proven for more than a decade in military and humanitarian operations around the world, the A400M is a revolutionary combat aircraft for the Kazakh air defense forces, offering unrivalled tactical and strategic capabilities on a single platform,' said Jean-Brice Dumont, Head of Air Power at Airbus Defence and Space.
' A second A400M, currently in production, will further enhance these capabilities when it is delivered in 2026. '
