MONTREAL, June 14 (Reuters) - Canada's transportation regulator said Thursday it was in contact with foreign regulators for a coordinated approach to allegations that Boeing and Airbus were sold titanium components with fake documentation.

Transport Canada, in an emailed statement, said it was also working with Canadian manufacturers to ensure proper management of any safety implications of the issue, and that it "will not hesitate to take action" to protect the public.
