Reference: Letter of Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited No. 2834/2020, dated 19 February 2020

Reference is made to the Letter of Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited (AOT), informing the assistance measures for concessionaires affected by the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak at all six airports under AOT's supervision. Such assistance measures offer a 20% reduction in fixed monthly concession charges during 1 February 2020 - 31 January 2021, whereby the reduction guidelines during 1 February 2021 - 31 March 2022 will be considered and further proposed to the AOT Board of Directors for consideration.

The AOT Board of Directors, in the Meeting No. 13/2020 held on Wednesday,

23 December 2020 at AOT Meeting Room 1, 6th Floor, AOT Head Office Building, viewed that the concessionaires are still being affected by the situation of COVID-19 outbreak due to the severe and ongoing COVID-19 outbreak in many countries. To help ensure continued business operations of the concessionaires and compliance with the government policy, the Meeting therefore resolved to approve the reductions in fixed monthly and annual concession charges during 1 February 2021 -

31 March 2022, as the assistance measures for concessionaires affected by the COVID-19 outbreak at all six airports under AOT's supervision, which are in line with the air traffic volumes of each airport as follows:

  1. A 20% reduction in fixed concession charges is applied to Suvarnabhumi Airport, Don Mueang International Airport, Phuket International Airport and Chiang Mai International Airport.
  2. A 15% reduction in fixed concession charges is applied to Hat Yai International Airport and Mae Fah Luang-Chiang Rai International Airport.
  3. AOT reserves the right to make changes, corrections, or cancellations of conditions of assistance measures for concessionaires as in items 1 and 2, whenever appropriate, in accordance with the situation and impacts caused by the COVID-19 outbreak.

AOT previously informed the Stock Exchange of Thailand of the revenue forecast in the AOT Letter No. 14167/2020 dated 24 September 2020, stating that the assistance measures for concessionaires and airlines affected by the COVID-19 outbreak are expected to cause a 42.35% decline in 2021 revenue, compared to the revenue in the fiscal year 2020 and a 188.12% increase in 2022 revenue, compared to the revenue in the fiscal year 2021. However, AOT would like to additionally informed that such assistance measures under items 1 and 2 are expected to cause a 0.006% decline in revenue in fiscal year 2021 and a 0.001% decline in revenue in fiscal year 2022 from the previous forecast.
