Reference is made to the Letter of Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited (AOT), informing the assistance measures for concessionaires and airlines affected by
the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak at all six airports under AOT's supervision. Such measures include an extension of a 12-month credit term of payment, instead of a 6-month credit term of payment, for concession charges, only for monthly installments during February - July 2020, and office and state property rents, terminal and building service charges, landing and parking charges, and aircraft service charges, only for monthly installments during April - July 2020.
At present, the concessionaires and airlines are still being affected by the situation of COVID-19 outbreak in many countries and the new wave of the COVID-19 outbreak in Thailand. To ensure continued operations of the concessionaire and airlines as in line with the government policy, the AOT Board of Directors, in the Meeting No. 2/2021 held on Wednesday, 20 January 2021, at AOT Meeting Room 1, 6th Floor, AOT Head Office Building, therefore, resolved to approve
an extension of payment term for concession charges, office and state property rents, and service charges for the concessionaires and airlines affected by the COVID-19 outbreak at all six airports under AOT's supervision as follows:
1. Extend additional credit term of payment for concession charges as follows:
For monthly installments during February - July 2020, a 6-month credit term of payment, thus totaling a 18-month credit term of payment, shall apply.
For monthly installments during August - December 2020, a 6-month credit term of payment, thus totaling a 12-month credit term of payment, shall apply.
Extend additional credit term of payment term for office and state property rents, terminal and building service charges, landing and parking charges, and aircraft service charges as follows:
For monthly installments during April - July 2020, a 6-month credit term of payment, thus totaling a 18-month credit term of payment, shall apply.
For monthly installments during August - December 2020, a 6-month credit term of payment, thus totaling a 12-month credit term of payment, shall apply.
However, for the concessionaires and airlines who wish to make a request for such extension of payment term under items 1 and 2, they shall submit a letter of request to AOT.
AOT reserves the right to make any changes, correction, or cancellation of conditions of assistance measures for the concessionaires and airlines under items 1 and 2, whenever appropriate, in accordance with the situations and impacts caused by the COVID-19 outbreak.
