Aker BioMarine appoints industry leader Seth French as new CEO for the company's
Brands segment. Mr. French will report to CEO in Aker BioMarine, Matts Johansen.

"With his broad experience from the food and beverage industry, his strategic
mindset and solid track record, Seth will be an excellent addition to the team.
He will play an important part by leading the expansion of Brands in the US
market", says Mr. Johansen.

Most recently, Mr. French was president in Lassonde Pappas Private Label
Division, one of the premier private brand beverage companies in the US. He has
held various top positions in Lassonde Pappas for the last 14 years.

"Aker BioMarine is a very exciting company that has proven itself to be an
innovative player in the healthy supplements and nutrition market and a leading
force in terms of market development. I am excited by the growth opportunities
ahead" says Mr. French.

As a part of building the brand segment, Aker BioMarine bought Lang Pharma
Nutrition in 2019. Lang is a key partner to the world's leading mass market
retail chains such as Costco, Sam's Club, Walmart, Target, CVS and Walgreens,
and is supplying dietary supplement and nutrition products. The U.S. vitamin and
supplement industry is a growing market, and for Aker BioMarine it is especially
important to develop and expand the omega-3 category.

In 2020, Aker BioMarine established Epion, a consumer brand company delivering
Kori Krill Oil in the US market. Today, the brand is available in retail chains
in the US, including Costco, CVS, Sam's Club, Target, Wakefern, Walgreens,
Walmart and more. One of these retail chains has awarded Epion a significant
increase in distribution of Kori from the first quarter of 2022. The impact of
the increased distribution is uncertain, but it is nevertheless an important
step towards our ambition for the Kori brand.
