AKWEL announced consolidated earnings results for the first half ended June 30, 2021. For the period, the company recorded revenue of €487.6 million against €387.0 million a year ago. Operating income was €50.7 million against €25.3 million a year ago. Net results (group share) was €38.0 million against €20.2 million a year ago.

AKWEL specializes in the design, manufacturing, and marketing of automotive equipment. The group's activity is organized around 5 families of product: - door opening and hinging mechanisms: door stops and hinges, locks, opening controls, foot switches, etc.; - fuel systems; - motor parts: air distributors, filtration and cooling systems, fuel injection ramps, etc.; - windshield washing electrical components and complete systems (Mecatronic); - closure systems. The group also develops an aftermarket activity. At the end 2022, the group had more than 40 production sites worldwide. Net sales (including intragroup) are distributed geographically as follows: France (25.9%), Europe and Africa (30.9%), North America (30.8%), South America (0.4%) and other (12%).
