On July 15th, 2021 'Alcomet' AD received the approval of the project ALUGREEN (Greener anodizing for cleaner nature) supported by the Norway Grants 2014-2021, in the frame of the Business Development, Innovation and SMEs, Bulgaria.

The project will be implemented in Shumen, Bulgaria in the next 18 months. The project budget is 1 715 983 Euro and the grant amount is 650 000 Euro, representing 37,88% of the eligible costs of the project.

On July 15th, 2021 'Alcomet' AD received the approval of the project ALUGREEN (Greener anodizing for cleaner nature) supported by the Norway Grants 2014-2021, in the frame of the Business Development, Innovation and SMEs, Bulgaria.

The main objective of the project ALUGREEN (Greener anodizing for cleaner nature) is to increase the company's competitiveness through the implementation of innovative green processes in its anodizing shop. The implementation of innovative technical solutions for the main anodizing line and its adjacent wastewater treatment plant will contribute to optimize Alcomet's production and straiten its market positions. In addition, a positive environmental effect is expected by reason of a waste reduction, water and energy savings, a reduction of CO2 emissions due to chemical consumption's optimization.
