November 27, 2020 - ALROSA's Manufacturing Execution System received the Best MES Mining Project award at the annual Wonderware Online Forum 2020 dedicated to global industrial automation trends.

This year, the forum took place online on November 18-19 and gathered more than 1,500 participants. At the event, predictive analytics, smart manufacturing, cloud solutions, as well as digital practices of the leading Russian companies were discussed.

ALROSA at the forum presented the implementation of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) at mining and processing plants. Organizers named it the best in the mining and processing category in Russia.

'The implementation of the MES system at ALROSA began in 2014 at the Aikhal Division. This successful experience made it possible to start replicating it at other ALROSA Divisions. Recently the system has been implemented and launched at the Nyurba Division. Grace to the specialists and managers who adapted the system for the company's operations and implemented it, we presented our project with dignity at the Wonderware international forum and received a worthy assessment from the organizers,' said Stanislav Gushchin, head of ALROSA production control center.

Wonderware Online Forum is an annual event dedicated to global trends in industrial automation and smart manufacturing. The organizer of the forum is Klinkmann / Wonderware Russia & CIS, an independent partner and authorized distributor of AVEVA solutions in the Russian Federation, the CIS countries, the Baltic States and Finland.
